Towards the end of every year, American United chooses to reward its members with a special reward dividend. Members must claim it online, beginning late November through December 28 to be eligible to receive it.

I love getting my bonus dividends at the end of each year! This is the only place that I know of that does this. Just remember that members have to "claim" them online every December."

What is the Member Reward Dividend?

The Member Reward Dividend is an annual program where American United returns an extra dividend to our members to thank them for their active membership and support during the year. Beginning late November through December 28th, members can claim it here on our website, and it will be paid into their account near the end of the year.

The Member Reward Dividend requires an active claiming process, and only members who claim their reward via our website will receive the dividend. Unlike the regular dividends that are paid via deposit balance, the Member Reward Dividend is paid via products utilized, so the more a member utilizes our products and services, the more they receive.

What is required to claim it?

The Member Reward Dividend is based on products and services for each individual membership as of November 21 of the current year. A member will need their member number, last name, email, and zip code to submit their claim form online. Upon successfully claiming the reward, the products and services they are specifically being rewarded for will be listed on the page, and will also be emailed to the member for confirmation.

You must claim your available Member Reward Dividend online, beginning late November through December 28 to be eligible to receive it. During that time, the online claim form will be available on this page to both check your total reward dividend and submit your claim.

Why do members have to claim their reward?

The Member Reward Dividend program is intended to encourage members to interact with the credit union and to thank the members who utilize our products and services the most. Unfortunately, members who don’t claim their available rewards online by December 28th will not receive them.
